Challenge 3.1 Setup Your MaKey MaKey

1. Plug it in

2. Connect to Earth

3. Connect to You

4. Activate it

While you're still holding the "Ground", touch the round "Space" pad on the MaKey MaKey. You should see a green light on the MaKey MaKey, and your computer will think the space bar was pressed. Connect the other alligator clips up to the other button pads on the Makey Makey.

5. Now let's see what it can do!

Challenge 3.2 Extend the MaKey MaKey

Now that you have mastered the basic contols, it's time to extend the power of the MaKey MaKey. Flip the board onto it's backside to reveal 6 additional keyboard buttons! WASDFG!

To connect these buttons, you will need to use the white, insulated wires that come with the MaKey MaKey and insert the "stripped" metal ends into the black plastic channels, or ports. You can also still use the same connections with alligator clips from the front-side on the back-side too.

Challenge 3.3 Build a Custom MaKey MaKey Controller

Using cardboard, foil, tape, and glue, build a remote control that connects to the MaKey Makey to control the Piano or the Sound Effects Board above or this Arcade Game!.
